The Randazzos

This is my awesome family.  My dad, John Randazzo, has been doing a great job this year juggling two weddings, his oldest son graduating from high school, and his youngest turning sixteen, which of course means starting to drive.  He’s also been hard at work planning a special event in May to celebrate all these wonderful events in our lives, which of course he has played a huge role in.  He is the son of Ted and Barbara Randazzo and brother to six sisters and one younger brother.  My dad grew up primarily in Brooklyn and graduated from University of Texas with a Masters in International Economics and then went on to Columbia University where he received a Masters in International Business and also where he met my mom.  I would tell you what he does for work but it is constantly changing, and therefore, ever more confusing.  Don’t worry; he loves to talk about it so you can ask him at the wedding!

My older sister Kelly will be 27 in March and shortly after will marrying a great guy, Troy Wilsey! She is absolutely one of my best friends and we are both each others maids-of-honor. Together they own a bar called The Bubble Lounge in Telluride, CO where they are currently living.  As well as owning a bar, they started the first triathlon in Telluride, which kicked off last August. My dad, brother, and I were able to be a part of it by volunteering, which was very exciting!  Along with organizing a triathlon, my sister also did an IRON MAN!  I know, it’s nuts.  She graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2003 with a major in communications, but so far being a business owner is suiting her just fine.  She and Troy are also both amazing skiers!

Ted is 18 and is just finishing up high school in Connecticut.  He is applying to a lot of schools, and when we hear back I will update this.  He is a great brother, friend, and one of the most outgoing and caring people I know.  He’s going to make an excellent husband one day because not only is he just super cool (which he likes to remind us of), but he is also a really good cook and always cleans up!  Also, he is the only person in our family besides my dad who can drive standard, and I am hoping he will teach me sometime this year.  He also has a very sweet girlfriend named Caroline who will hopefully be at the wedding.

Jack is the youngest in our family.  He is a sophomore in high school and is now able to drive.  He is an awesome soccer player and plays in the new Academy League, which is nationwide.  He is a very funny guy with his dry sense of humor.  As a warning, do not challenge him to a Halo match because he will win.  He is usually quiet so if he decides to talk to you consider it quite the honor.

The Sheldons

A quick update on the Sheldon family:

Tim and Janet (the parents) are loving life on the farm in Moatsville, West Virginia.  With the remodeling of the house almost complete, they have had the chance to finally relax and do some gardening on the farm. Tim has been with Marriott for 23 years (maybe more), while Janet has been a mom for 27 and continues to think of possible businesses she'd like to start.

Kyle is going into his fourth year with D.C. United, working in communications, and has enjoyed living in Washington (kind of).  With his busy work schedule with United and, he has stayed busy, yet always enjoys the work (kind of).

Lauren is in her second year at Tuskagee University in Alabama as a veterinarian student.  She is studying hard to be an equine veterinarian (horses) and spends her free time in the outdoors - running, biking, hiking, eating ice cream...

Kerrin is getting ready to graduate from Wingate University in May with a BS in Journalism with a minor in English.  He dreams of competing on Amazing Race with my fiance this summer and likes to think of himself as an outdoorsman (though he really isn't).
